Free, plant based meal kits
Each Monday, HCTC delivers Meal Kits to 96 families in need in our community. Each Thursday, 24 meals are taken to the distribution along with samples for our neighbors to try. Each Kit contains everything necessary to prepare a plant-based nutritious meal for a family of four. The 96 Meal Kits are assembled by volunteers at Mary C Jenkins Community Center, then delivered to local non-profit after-school programs for distribution to their client families.
Monthly Pantry Run
Once a month, we also deliver and support 8 local pantries. We supply them with fresh vegetables, milk, eggs, cheese, and an assortment of canned goods.
